DNS Probe Error
-
I bought a domain name (wearedivergent.org) from go daddy and tried to attribute it to my WordPress (healthpromind.com) account, which caused me to have problems logging in to my account and a dns probe error. Can someone help me get my WordPress account back to what it was with regard to the url? I hope to hear from you soon.

Hi there:
You’ve posted to the free support forums for websites hosted here at WordPress.com. Since your site is not hosted with us, we’re limited in what we can help with and advise. But I can get you pointed in the right direction to get help.
Changing your site URL name in your WordPress settings without first configuring the domain at your hosting provider will cause the problems you’re seeing now. You should reach out to your host for help with this. Since they’re hosting your site’s files, they also have access to those files and are the best ones to help you undo this problem. They can also help you update your domain if you still want to change that as well.
If you have trouble in the future, you will need to reach out to your hosting provider or the WordPress.org community for guidance:

I hope that helps!

Hi there,
Apologies, but we can’t help with your issue directly because we don’t host healthpromind.com on our WordPress.com managed hosting.
To explain, we are a fully managed hosting provider and use a custom server environment that is optimized for WordPress, provides built-in security and performance improvements, as well as in-house support for your site questions.
Because of the way we’ve optimized our service, we also use a customized version of WordPress that is different (under the hood) from what you use at IONOS Hosting. As a result, we do not have access to your site and are not familiar with the source of your issue.
You can confirm here that IONOS is the host of your site currently, just type your site URL into the form on this page: https://hostingchecker.com/
You definitely have the option to move your site to us so we can provide in-house help, but as it stands now, we cannot help since it is hosted elsewhere. The good news is that your hosting provider may be able to help in this instance. I recommend contacting IONOS Hosting for further assistance as your host is who typically helps you to connect a domain that you purchased with an outside provider. They are in the best position to help. Thanks!
