DNS problem
-
Hi there,
I am trying to add a blog to my store: http://www.facepaintingsupplies.ca and link the blog to your site. I purchased the one year plan. I don’t know what happened, in the DNS page, my primary domain is Kyrvaline.wordpress.com and another one is facepaintingsupplies.ca.
I only want one and it has to be kryvaline.wordpress.com and I need it to be on the one year plan. My knowledge about these is very limited. I am a customer of Volusion, they have an article about how to link the blog, I tried, no succeed. please help.
Thank you!

Hi Wei!
If you want to create a blog link on facepaintingsupplies.ca that links to your WordPress.com site, you will need to create a CNAME record with your domain’s registrar.
Here are the instructions about how to map a subdomain here at WordPress.com:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-subdomain/#instructions-for-mapping-subdomainsYour subdomain will look something like this: blog.facepaintingsupplies.ca. That is the subdomain you will link to your WordPress.com site, rather than the domain itself (facepaintingsupplies.ca).
When you’re ready, I can remove the mapping for facepaintingsupplies.ca from your WordPress.com site so you can map your subdomain instead.
Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks very much.

Hi Thatrobyn,
Thank you for your help! After carefully reading your article you sent, I made it, however, when I re-did it, I had to pay another $13 for the mapping. I paid $129 for the whole year and that included the mapping. I am wondering if that’s possible to refund it to my credit card.
Thank you again!

Hi Wei!
Nice work with the subdomain mapping!
I’ve removed your unnecessary mapping of facepaintingsupplies.ca and refunded you for the extraneous purchase.
You can see record of that refund here:
