DNS Problems

Help, I’m trying to point my elag.org domain to my wordpress blog: europeanlibraryautomationgroup.wordpress.com. I tried to set the correct nameservers at my hosting provider. But still I don’t get any response to my site. What should I do?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I just checked the records for elag.org using the Whois search on the godaddy.com website, and it shows that the current name servers are set to NS1.STBIF.NL and NS2.STBIF.NL right now.
In order to map a custom domain you already own to a WordPress.com blog, the name servers must be set to NS1.WORDPRESS.COM, NS2.WORDPRESS.COM, and NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
It takes time for DNS changes to go through. How long depends on how quickly a hosting provider pushes the change and how fast the DNS databases pick up that change and also how fast your local internet service provider updates their local DNS records. Because of all the different places it has to update (propagation), it usually takes a few hours but can take up to a few days.
What I would recommend first is double checking the hosting provider settings to make sure they are correct. If you are certain they are correct, then you should wait a day or so for the changes to have time to go through. If you have already waited a few days since making the name servers change, you should contact your hosting provider and ask them if they could please help you check to make sure the name servers for elag.org were updated correctly to point to NS1.WORDPRESS.COM, NS2.WORDPRESS.COM, and NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

Can’t hurt to double check the settings. In my experience, it takes hours not days but it’s also possible that it’s just slow in this case for some reason. I would recommend double checking the settings just in case!
