DNS record required to point to that resource/site.

    Hi!

    I am trying to link a WordPress blog to my Wix domain . I have looked at the Wix help pages and have found a few helpful steps in to creating a subdomain that I can link up to my current Wix domain.
    Basically I would like to link my wordpress blog with my current wix domain.
    The first step of which involves contacting the external resource (in this case, WordPress) and asking you for the DNS record ‘required to point to that resource/site.’

    I have coped the instructions below;
    ‘To set up a subdomain, you need to:
    Contact the host of the external resource/site (e.g., WordPress) and ask them for the DNS record required to point to that resource/site.
    Add the record (it may be either an A record or a CNAME record) in the domains section of your Wix account (as instructed below).’

    Would you be able to give me that record or tell me where I may find it.. ?

    Hi there.

    The best way to map a domain to a WordPress.com blog is to set your domain’s name servers to the following values:

    NS1.WORDPRESS.COM

    NS2.WORDPRESS.COM

    NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

    However, if your registrar requires that you create A records, please note that our IPs change over time. Because of this, your domain might stop working at some point in the future. If that happens, please get in touch with us to find out the most current IPs and then update your A records, accordingly.

    If you still want to map your domain using A records, please be sure to create two records using these IP addresses:

    192.0.78.25

    192.0.78.24

    Thank you darnelldibbles. I have the same question. I saw some answers by staff in 2012 and 2014 and they listed the same six IP addresses. You provided two above (thank you), but if there are more could I please get those now, so if anything changes I will already have alternates and not have to wait for an answer in Forum. Thank you so much!
