  My site is still attached to wordpress and I need it released. I don’t know how to do so or where to find it.

  How long will it take before the records are clear from WordPress?

  DNS records are changed at the domain registrar. What my colleague did was remove the Jetpack connection to your WordPress.com user account.

  Your domain bobgroves.com is registered with GoDaddy and is using GoDaddy’s nameservers at the moment. If you need to change those nameservers to point elsewhere, you need to log into your GoDaddy account and change them there.
