DNS Records
-
Hi.
I am switching from Google Mail to Proton Mail.
6 Days ago, i added the DNS records for Proton mail to my wordpress account, and i tried to delete the DNS records relating to Gmail in my wordpress account.
The gmail records will not delete; they are still showing in my wordpress account.
My proton mail account shows that the MX records have not yet updated.
4 Days ago i contacted support to describe this problem and received an automatic response with the instructions for managing DNS records that i had already followed. I have replied to that, but there has not been a response.
I rely on email for work communications so this is becoming a problem. Please could a happiness engineer have a look? Thanks

Hey there,
I am still seeing the DNS records from Google with your domain. It is possible that the Proton Mail records are set up correctly, but the Google records are causing issues with the domain connection. Can you share the Proton mail records so we can make sure those are all added?
To remove the Google records, visit Upgrades > Domains > [your domain]. Then select DNS Records > Manage. From here, you can delete the Google records by selecting the menu (three dots) next to the record and choosing Delete:

Let us know once those are deleted, and we can take a look. Keep in mind it can take up to 72 hours for these changes to propagate.
Thanks! Looking forward to hearing from you.
