DNS Records

    Hi –

I have transferred my domain to WordPress and it is active, but my old site is still showing up. I was told I need to revise my DNS records, but have no idea what to change them to and/or which to delete. Could someone please take a look and advise?

    Thanks!

None of my records say “Handled by WordPress” like those in the step by step tutorials. Seems like something didn’t transfer properly and I’m really hoping to get help cleaning this up ASAP. I don’t want any of the old DNS records hanging on (including any old email servers).

    Thanks!

Update: I figured out how to reset the A DNS record to default and I am now getting an error when I visit the website… NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID

    Please advise!

  • Hi,

The NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID is related to the SSL certificate. This was a brief temporal issue after resetting the A records

I’ve checked your domain and its DNS records, and everything seems correct.

I was also able to visit your site with no error messages:

I understand the issue is solved now on your end too, but let us know if you need further assistance with this, and we’ll be happy to help!
