DNS records

Hello! I have migrated my site over to showit on the 28th March and my workspace gmail account ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) suddenly stopped receiving emails from this date. I have discovered that it has something to do with DNS records.

Showit support said ‘This would be found at WordPress.com, and it would be from there not being MX records there for Google Workspace. If you reach out to their support they should be able to help with adding those records in to get the email back up and running.’

Can someone please help set this up? I believe this might be related to my current account being connected to my personal email address ((email visible only to moderators and staff))

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there!

Live chat support is available with the yearly WordPress.com Creator plan and above. We’re happy to help you here with your questions, though!

You’ll want to grab the MX records for Google Workspace here. You can then add them to your domain by following these instructions:

DNS records are special settings that control what people see when they visit your domain. They also allow you to connect your domain to third-party services such as an email provider. This guide will show you how to add, remove, and change your domain’s DNS records. Reasons for Editing DNS Records You may want to edit the DNS for your domain if you are: Verifying your ownership of a d

Please note: DNS changes can take up to 72 hours to take effect. So, you will need to wait for a while after adding the MX records to your domain.

Let us know once you’ve added the DNS records, and we can take a look for you.

    Regards
