  Can you tell us why you need the WordPress.com DNS records because you just can’t use DNS records.

  Because I want to direct this wordpress to a domain I already have.

  Hi there,

  It’s not possible to modify the DNS records of a free WordPress.com subdomain.

  If you want to redirect traffic from your WordPress.com site to a site at another domain you have hosted elsewhere, you can use our Site Redirect upgrade to do that:

  https://wordpress.com/en/support/site-redirect/

  Or if you instead want to use a domain you already own with your WordPress.com site, in other words, so the WordPress.com site appears when someone types your domain in their browser, you can do that through the Domain Connection upgrade included in our Pro plan:

  https://wordpress.com/en/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/

  That support page also explains what you need to do on your domain provider’s end to point the domain to us, once you’ve added the Domain Connection upgrade.
