DNS Request

    Gooday,

    I have managed to update my DNS for passthemap.com to point the www record to a new ip address: 197.221.2.37

    However this only works for http://www.passthemap.com and not passthemap.com.

    How do I get this working please?

    Hi there,

    In the DNS system which you can see within your Dashboard, you cannot actually set the IP address for the root of your domain (passthemap.com without the www).

    I’ve gone ahead and made that change for you, so in the next 1 to 24 hours it should be showing as correct.

    Keep in mind that while IP addresses can work just fine, the best and most stable way for you to set where your domain points is via nameservers. If you can get the nameservers for your new host you should point your domain that way.
