DNS Server down

Hello,
My site is down with the error:
This site can’t be reachedbrianagunn.com’s server DNS address could not be found.
Try running Windows Network Diagnostics.
DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAINWhen I spoke to tech at bluehost who I thought hosted my site, they said that in fact WWDomains are the registar. WWDomains have no record of me or my site due to me starting it with WordPress and Bluehost. Bluehost can’t help as they aren’t the registrar and WWDomains can’t help as they have no records of me.
What do I do now? The WWdomains person said to contact WordPress as I started it there and they outsourced the registrar to WWDomains. When I log into my admin panel there is no obvious way to renew the domain, only to upgrade my plan- which I don’t need to do and am not even sure that it would renew the domain anyway.

Hi @brianagunn, sorry you’ve had trouble! This domain is in redemption right now — it expired some time ago. We can try to get it back, though the registrar charges an extra $80 fee at this point. If you’d like, I can send an invoice to the account on file (it’s not registered under this account.)
Another option is to continue to let it go through its expiration process, which takes a few months. If no one else buys it, you can re-register it then. You might get a different domain in the meantime.
