DNS still not updated after deleting blog

    I went from a wordpress.com environment to a wordpress.org environment with my own hosting. The problem I am encountering right now is the fact that de DNS settings won’t get updated. I have the right DNS settings at my hosting environment. But the WordPress.com DNS settings are still active and won’t get deleted for some reason. So it never redirects it to my new wordpress.org environment.

    I have deleted my blog 2-3 ago, and the DNS are still at WordPress.com.
    Try looking up the nameservers and IP address of http://www.blackrockstar.com

    How long will it take to ‘refresh’ the DNS settings? Or do I have to do something?

    P.S. The blog URL is http://www.blackrockstar.com instead of rivelinomusic.wordpress.com. I have deleted my blog, so I can’t select it.
