    Hello,
I need your help releasing my domain name from wordpress and pointing it at weebly (199.34.228.59) I was able to switch the “A” record but don’t have access to the “*” CNAME record or the “www” record. PLEASE HELP!! I’ve never had a problem switching websites before and am just wondering if this is something you manage on your end??

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there!

We will automatically direct your * CNAME, which includes the www record to your A record listing. You can see this in your DNS records as listed here:

DNS changes usually take several hours to fully take effect (and theoretically can take up to 72 hours). I’d recommend checking back. You can also try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies. Instructions can be found here:

Let me know if I can answer any other questions!

    Hi Shawna,
I am still having concerns if my dns has been transferred or not. It has been past 72 hours and I have cleared my browsers. I noticed that my wordpress is down but when i go to publish my weebly website it says the site is still unavailable. In the past, when i would transfer all of my records over, Weebly would allow me to publish my site with my domain name. Please let me know if there is something else I need to do or if it is still processing.
    Thanks,
    Ashley Haugen

Sorry about that! I just made a quick change to your DNS settings and you should be all set now.
