DNS transfer

  This new website is hosted through Crazy Domains. The Domain name is http://www.yasainoshika.com.au and I need wordpress to transfer the DNS records. I have tried following instructions here but wordpress seems to want to charge me $120 for what I have already paid for elsewhere. Thanks. Ly.

  If you bought your domain from WordPress and are looking to transfer it to another registrar, please follow the instructions on the support article at the link down below:

  https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/transfer-domain-registration/

  Hi there,

  We don’t have any control over the DNS for yasainoshika.com.au, as that domain is not registered with us. Changing the DNS records for that domain can only be done at Crazy Domains where it is registered.

  If you want to use that domain for a site in your WordPress.com account with us, you will need to upgrade to a paid plan – the payment you made to Crazy Domains for that domain does not pay for the service we provide you to use that domain on WordPress.com:

  The link you provided above only applies to domains registered through WordPress.com, and the domain here is not registered through us, as .au domains cannot be registered with WordPress.com at all.

  Domain registration and a domain’s DNS is also not the same thing.
