DNS Transfer denied by Automattic

  I am trying to transfer my domain to GoDaddy. I followed the instructions in this article

  https://wordpress.com/support/domains/transfer-domain-registration/

  I unlocked the domain and received authorization code. Within 5 minutes of initiating the process, GoDaddy informed me that my current registrar has denied the transfer.

  WP.com: Yes
  Jetpack: No
  Correct account: Yes

  Hi there!

  I see that your domain in unlocked but some registrars will require disabling privacy before starting the transfer process. To do this:

  1. Go to the Domains section of your account.
  2. Click the “Contact information” section of your domain’s settings.
  3. Uncheck “Privacy protection”
  4. Restart the transfer
