DNS Update Again?
-
On Sept. 28, 2016 I changed my SFTP-IP address to ciegler.wpengine.com, my domain name to scbeetles.info, and my nameservers to clark.ns.cloudflare.com and maya.ns.cloudflare.com. This week I received from you the message that I need a DNS update. Do I need to do it again??

Hi there,
From what email address exactly did you receive a message that you need to update your DNS? scbeetles.info is not registered with us, and you have no domains and no sites at all in your WordPress.com account is it’s highly unlikely that we would have sent you anything regarding DNS.

It came from “WP Engine <(email visible only to moderators and staff)>”
I’ve been running that website “scbeetles.info” for 2-3 years, and it certainly is known to WordPress. WordPress (WP) helped me get it up and running.
Back in September I received a similar message from WP, went thru all the hoops and circles to try to update my DNS, and thought it had been accomplished. I don’t understand all this at all. -

wpengine.com is not the same as WordPress.com. They’re in no way connected to us, in fact. wpengine.com is a hosting platform for the self-hosted WordPress.org software.
You will need to contact wpengine’s support directly to find out the reason for those emails, as it has nothing to do with us and we have no access to your account with them to help with this.
