DNS validation error
-
I need to redelegate to new DNS servers but each time I try a popup appears saying “validation error”.
I can’t even reset to the default WordPress DNS servers, the same error message appears.
The domain is locked and cannot be unlocked saying “contact support” when I try.
Does anyone have a workaround?
Thanks.

Hi there!
Can you clarify if you’re trying to set WordPress.com nameservers or
hafey.orgnameservers? Looking at the domain information it’s showinghafey.orgones at the moment.I’m also showing that visiting your domain it redirects to
https://essentiallypop.com/epop/which is not hosted here at WordPress.com.If you’re trying to do something else, please give us more information so we can better advise. Thanks!

Thanks, I’m trying to set the following servers:
dns41.cloudns.net
dns42.cloudns.net
dns43.cloudns.net
dns44.cloudns.netwhen I receive the validation error.
I’ve confirmed the new servers are configured correctly: https://zonemaster.net/result/c54ac7bd1292272a
Also, I’m not changing the hosting location, just the authoritative DNS servers.

Hi there,
It appears that there’s an error at our registrar that prevents the name servers from being updated, and that’s also preventing the domain from being unlocked.
We’ve reported the issue to our developers so they can add the name servers for you manually from our end. We’ll let you know once that’s done.

Hi there, I apologize for the delay!
Our team is working with our registrar partner to get this resolved, and we’ll let you know as soon as that’s been done.

I have good news!
Our registrar partner was able to change your name servers as requested. :)
Please let us know if you need any further assistance!
