Do ads appear on static pages?

  Hi everyone,

  I’m thinking about starting another blog at wordpress.com to use as a basic website, consisting of static pages, not ‘posts’. I know that WP runs ads on post pages, but I’ve never seen one on a static page. Do they appear on static pages?
