Do ads show on static pages
-
Hello everyone.
I have a blog on WordPress.com and big part of it includes static pages (it’s a photography related website, so Portfolio, Projects and Biography). I have also started a Photo Blog section, which I wanted to keep as Posts. Yesterday I have noticed ads in my blog posts (in all browsers except Chrome, which I normally use, so I didn’t notice them before). I have two questions related to them:
1. Will they show on the static pages as well or will they show underneath the posts only? I’m fine with the latter, but don’t really want any ads on my static pages. I’ve found another thread asking the same question and it’s been closed due to lack of responses, so I hope I will have more luck with this question than the other person.
2. Is there any way of making these ads relevant to my blog readers? I don’t really mind them being there, but it’s a photography related blog, so I believe links to photo equipment would be more suitable than links to some shops with garments. Or will they just adjust to the content of my blog with time?Big thanks for everyone who takes their time to give me some clues.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

1) yes, they’ll be on pages as well, although much less often because pages don’t get a lot of traffic from search engines at all, and the ads show primarily to people coming from search engines.
2) There’s no way to modulate it and as far as I’ve seen they’re pretty much random.

Thank you for your reply, raincoaster. I guess I will have to live with ads showing up on static pages from time to time. At least for the time being.
As for modification of the content of these ads, it’s a shame :(
