Do all tags I add to posts accumulate in the ‘tag widget’?

  Do all tags I add to posts accumulate in the ‘tag widget’? If I create 100 tags, will they ALL show up in my right menu, when I use the tag widget? I’d like to limit them to the 20 most common tags for example, and if I don’t have 20 that I’ve used more than once, then have the rest be a random selection from the rest of the tags. Thank you in advance for your advice!

  I think the tag cloud has a limit of 45 tags. The Category Widget, however, has no limit.

  You can always make a text widget that has only the tags you want in it.
