do all themes have “page parent” option
-
I am using MistyLook for one of my sites, but I can’t seem to add pages that will allow me to add posts to anything but the main page.
On another blog I’m able to assign my post to ANY of my pages using “page parent.”
How can I figure out which 2 column themes DO have the “page parent” option, short of going through each and every one?
Thank you for the help!

The blog linked to your name is not a WordPress.com blog. Do you have another blog?
The difference between wp.COM and wp.ORG:

in wp.com, we have a parent page and child page concept. the child page is a sub-page of the parent page. if you’re talking about posts, however, they will all appear at the main front page by default. posts are not pages.
your username links to a non-wp.com blog so i’m not sure if your query belongs in this forum, which is just for blogs under wp.com…

http://pt02657.wordpress.com is the one i was asking about.
on the Political Musings page, I’d like to create posts, just as I do on the home page.
on this one: http://maryannmcfadden.wordpress.com I’m able, when creating a post, to select a “page parent”, which allows the posting to appear on any of the sub-pages.
I’d like to do that on http://pt02657.wordpress.com as well. -
as i’ve mentioned, posts can only appear at the home/front page. in your second blog, you have several pages but i didn’t see any extra posts under any pages nor the home page.

maybe this thread can be an alternative to your solution: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/adding-posts-to-a-page?replies=3#post-265042

I think you are confusing posts and pages. http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/11/11/a-post-and-a-page/ When you write a page it allows you to select the page parent, but not when you write a post.
