Do blog post edits get sent out to followers?

  If I merely edit a typo on one of my existing blog posts, does WordPress send the entire post out to my followers all over again?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi George,

  Notifications are only sent the first time a post is published.

  If you edit a post, change a typo, and click Update, a second notification will not be sent. Users will only see the edit if they click through to the post’s page, it will not edit their email copy.

  The exception to this is if you adjust the date/time of a post after it’s already been published once. If you edit the published post’s Publish Date/Time, WordPress will send a notification once again.
