Do everybody have to register to leave a comment?

  I’m currently using another blog; blogtown.se where people can leave comments without having to register. Is that an option in wordpress blogs? If so, how do I do it?

  no, unless you want them to be. dashboard–>settings–>Membership (check/uncheck box dependent upon what you want)

  You can set commenter status at Dashboard->Settings->Discussion and make it as open or as private as you want. These are your 3 options:

  Before a comment appears An administrator must always approve the comment
  Comment author must fill out name and e-mail
  Comment author must have a previously approved comment

  You can choose all or none of them.
