Do followers get an email whenever you edit a post?

  Im still learning how everything works in WordPress and as a result, I have gone back and edited my posts a few times after they have been published.

  If someone has subscribed to follow your blog – will they get an email every single time you edit something because I can see how this would get annoying. (Obviously once I have figured everything out hopefully there won’t be a need to edit anything). Or do they just get an email whenever a new blog post appears?

  No, they will only get a notification when you originally publish you post.
