Do followers receive notification if i make a private post public?

    If I made a post private and then make it public again do followers receive notification of a new post?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hello,
    If you publish a post as Private, then update it to Public, your followers will be notified.

    They will only be notified of each post a single time, though, so if you Publish it publicly, then change it to private, then back to public, it will only notify them the first time it is published publicly.
