Do followers transfer between different blogs?

Hi There,
I have two blogs (www.leroymilton.com) and (www.2helpfulguys.com). I have accumulated a good number of followers on my first blog (www.leroymilton.com). But I want to shut that one down and ONLY pursue the other blog (www.2helpfulguys.com).
Is there any way to transfer my followers?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Please keep in mind that while your email subscribers will continue to receive email notifications of new posts as before, WordPress.com followers will only see new posts in the Reader. They will not receive email updates unless they subscribe to receive those on your new site.
