do i actually need this service

    I have a domain on a hosting plan else where, all i am trying to do is set up woo commerce as the payment gateway on my eCommerce site, do I need an account here when i am being hosted elsewhere, what more do I need to just connect woo commerce to my sites back end so payment can be managed?

    My site is : beyslist.com

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

    Hi there,

    Since you already have a domain and hosting plan elsewhere, you do not necessarily need an account with WordPress.com. You can simply install the WooCommerce plugin from your site’s admin dashboard and then start configuring your store, the various payment gateways, and other settings. For more help on what payment gateway to choose and how to set it up, you can ask over at the official WooCommerce forum at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce
