Do I have the most recent update? No uploading drag and drop box.
-
When I try to upload photos I am not seeing the drag and drop box that should be there with the new version. Also I can no longer upload multiple photos at a time. One at a time is very slow. What should I do?

Yes, blogs hosted on WordPress.com are automatically updated to the most recent version of WordPress.
Could you let me know what internet browser you’re using? Because Opera and Internet Explorer don’t support HTML5 uploads yet, you won’t be able to see the drag and drop uploader if you’re using either of those browsers.

I am using firefox. I haven’t been able to update to the most recent, my computer is getting old, but I am not having problems with anything else. What else can I do?

Can you please verify exactly which version of Firefox you’re running? Certain branches (like 3.x) won’t show available updates to the current (which is 9.0.1).
If you’re running 9.0.1, would you please try Chrome to rule-out a browser-specific issue?

Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.0.7) Gecko/2009021906 Firefox/3.0.7
Maybe that means something to you?
What is Chrome?

Okay , sorry to be a pain. I just updated to 9.0.1 but I still have no drag and drop media upload window. What’s next?

Try installing Chrome (another web browser) from http://www.google.com/chrome to see if that makes any difference for you, or try Safari (which should already be installed).
