Do I have to be upgraded to the paid plan in order to add custom forms to my web
-
I tried adding a form block to my website, but there is no option to create a blank form where I can add my own custom questions.
The only option was to select from a pretemplated form. I am on the free plan.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @storygenie5, can you clarify what you’re trying to add to the form? Do you mean custom input fields, or are you adding queries as in SQL queries?
For SQL queries you’d definitely need the Business Plan, because that would be considered outside code:
But if it’s not that, please send a link to the form, or tell us the name of the page you’re working on. Let us know what you’re trying to add, and we’ll take a look.

Hi there,
The form block includes a few pre-configured form types, but you can definitely customize your form to add as many custom form fields as you wish. You can see how that is done here, no upgrade needed!

Hope this helps!

Yes, you can. You can remove all the other fields and use the Text or Message fields only.

Hi there!
You can click the field that you want to remove → click the three dots on the block toolbar → click Remove block. See the following screenshot:
Doing this will remove just the field that you’ve selected.
Hope that helps!

Hi.
I still can’t delete fields, I don’t see an option. I wish not to select a precreated template for my form.
Just so you know, I am using a screen reader, so please don’t send me any futore photos, as I can’t see them.
There is also no option to ad my own fields. I, would like to be able to add fields of my own. Please also add a feature request for people to be able to create a form without selecting a template.

@storygenie5, I’ll try to set up a video walk through. If you click “Skip” you’ll still get the basic fields, but you can remove those, too, then add the fields you want.

I don’t use social media, so I will not be able to view that tumbler social post.
I don’t seaee a button to delete fields.
I am very basic, which means that I don’t like to create social profiles.

I have a fear of visiting social websites like tumbler. Is there any other way that I can figure this out? It’s that the delete button and the addfield button aren’t present in the form block.

Hi again,
To clarify (I feel we might have missed this earlier) you are using a screen reader to navigate the form builder interface? If so, what is the screen reading software you are using so we can attempt to double check on our end wether those options are accessible or not.
Also can you tell us a bit about the form you are trying to set up? What kinds of fields and questions do you plan to have in there? It may help us to know the direction you intend to go in, so thanks for that added info!
