do i have to buy wordpress explorer?

  I am looking to connect my domain that I purchased at GoDaddy to my WordPress site. But it is adding WordPress Explorer to my cart. When I go to delete it, it kicks me out of the cart. Do I need to buy it in order to connect my domain?

  A WordPress.com plan is required to be able to connect your domain and set it as the primary address on your site. It can be the WordPress.com Starter plan, as well. If you mostly need to use your domain with your WordPress.com site, you can proceed with the WordPress.com Starter plan. You can always upgrade to a higher plan if you need more features.
