Do I have to change domain name

  I just purchased a personal plan. I am being prompted to change my domain name. It appears to be an additional charge. Do I have to change it?

  You do not have to use a custom domain with your WordPress.com plan.

  If you choose to use a custom domain, the first year of registration is included with your personal plan, but subsequent renewals would be an extra cost.
