Do I have to include a link to the post in the Publicize box?

  I read the help section regarding publicize, and it is not clear.

  Do I have to include a link to the article in the publicize box or does it put it in there automatically once the post is published?

  If yes, does it put it in shortcode so that it fits into a standard 140 character Twitter post?

  Does it automatically include the feature photo or do I have to add it myself.

  Would be great if WP Help could be more clear in their help section on this subject…

  OK, so I let the scheduled post go out and it publicized it to my connected accounts (Twitter and Google+). It included the link to the post and the feature photo without me having to manually add those into the publicize box.

  Happy I got to learn this by letting it “publicize” – since the help page is really not clear about whether or not one must add a link to the post and a photo beforehand.
