Do I have to pay each year to keep my upgraded space?

  I love blogging but I have run out of upload space. I’ve seen the info about the space upgrade. I’m interested in the 5GB for $19.95. I saw the cost is per year. So, does this mean that I have to pay that amount each year to keep my 5GB? If I only pay it once, what happens at the end of the year? Do I lose the left over space? Do I lose what I’ve added to that extra space? Thanks for your help!

  Yes, the upgrade needs to be renewed annually. If you don’t renew the space upgrade, you won’t lose the files that have been uploaded, but you’ll essentially be over your space limit, so you won’t be able to upload further files.

  Ok. So if I use 3GB of the additional 5GB, will I get 5 more GB when I renew the next year or will I just be paying to keep the leftover 2GB? I’m going to buy the space…I’m just curious as to what I should expect after a year. Thanks!

  basically, you’ll be paying each year to renew the same space upgrade, so you won’t be given additional space. You’ll still have the same 3GB used with 2GB left over.

  Last question…if I use up all the new 5GB in a couple years and need to buy more…will I have to continue to pay to renew the used 5GB plus pay for another 5? …basically pay $40 per year? By the way…thanks for answering all my questions.

  You can safely let the 5GB expire and purchase a larger space upgrade.
