Do I have to pay for subdomain mapping or not?

  I want to map a subdomain that I own on another registrar to my WordPress blog and it says here and there on the site that I have a free domain that I can use for mapping. As soon as I actually try to do the mapping it seems to suggest that I have to pay $12 a year for that mapping. I am confused, do I have to pay or not?

  A free domain mapping is included with your Value Bundle.

  As long as you add the subdomain via Store -> Domains in your Dashboard, you won’t be charged.
