Do I have two accounts somehow?
-
I have started a blog, and I’ve been editing/filling in the different sections. BUT it keeps asking me which site I want as my primary? I also cannot find my very first post, but I have gotten a congrats message on my first post. I ALSO cannot figure out how to have the post show up on the site’s main page where it says something about ‘recently from the blog’ or somesuch. Any guesses on what’s going on?

Hi @silverfoxxfiona, the primary site just determines a few defaults in our interface. You can set it here.
https://wordpress.com/me/accountAnd you can find all of your posts here:
https://wordpress.com/postsI see two sites, one that shows your most recent post and the other which has been customized on the front page, but does not have any posts currently. If you publish a few posts on that site, they’ll show on the front page. And I’d encourage you to remove the example posts, too.

Is there a place I can either merge the two sites or delete one? I don’t know how I ended up with both, and I only need one. When I find the one with the post, I don’t see a way to find the other pages (About, Landing/Home Page, Contact, etc.), and when I’m in the one where all of those elements can be found, I can’t figure out how to create a new post in that site, which will replace the example posts. Hopefully, if I can get rid of one/merge them it will be easier to navigate.

You can delete the sample posts here:
https://wordpress.com/posts — just pick the site they’re on, and remove them.
Then, for “merging” the sites, you’ll need to decide what you which one you want to keep, and decide if there’s anything you want to move over from the old site. Since these are both pretty new sites with not much in them, it may be easier to just copy the text over and re-upload your images, but it’s up to you. You can also export and import if you prefer.
For deleting one site, use this:
Do you need more help with that?
