Do I need a hosting site anymore?

    I am no longer actively using my site but want to preserve it. With that said, do I need to continue paying GoDaddy as a host, or can the site “live on” as madeleinerex.Wordpress.com? I had previously utilized my own domain name and been very active as a teenager, which is when I began utilizing GoDaddy. I can’t recall whether the site can remain in tact via WordPress without that additional expense from here on.

    It looks like you haven’t added any content to https://madeleinerex.wordpress.com/ for 11 years. However if your GoDaddy site was built with the WordPress software you can import the content over to this free WordPress.com site. Do the import whilst your GoDaddy site is still online. Then when you’re happy words and images have transferred you can cancel your GoDaddy subscription.
