Do I need a new blog for each entry?

I have written more than twelve stories with more coming. The question is:

Would it be more effective to have a blog for each entry? I seem to have difficulty with people finding multiple stories. Plus I have given some excerpts out of order. (I.E. Chapter 4 was published first)

Not yet even into the first week of pushing all the cool buttons, but I would like to get up to speed asap. There are a rage of angels, a doom of dragons, a flit of shadows and a mine of dwarves wanting to have their story told.

So should each one, rather than have them be catagorized in ONE blog, have their own separate blogs as well as the catagories?

    Thank you.

I can see your dilemma. Using a blog to write sequential content can be tricky because of the reverse chronological element of a blog.

We have a support page that talks about how to use WordPress.com for a book, and there may be some good ideas there for you:

Otherwise, I’d make each story (if short) its own blog post, and maybe each chapter of a longer work as well, and use the categories/tags to group things together.

If creating a book-like structure that Jackie pointed to above does not suit you, then you could use a single sticky post as an index page > http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/#sticky-posts Or you can falsify every date-stamp before publishing the post.

Thanks timethief, that’s another good option.

With great thanks! In hopes of doing great deeds. Thank you! Giving both suggestions a try. If I have any more questions or problems, in the words of a famous fella.
