A woman who has openly threatened me on @twitter has now commented on my blog.
Do I need a restraining order to prevent future comments? Do you honor restraining orders?
I have placed her in blacklist, but she seems quite persistent as she has been attacking me on @twitter since 9/5/2014.

This is a great question. The same women is using your blog comment section to abuse me now. She has been stalking me and now has found this blog comment section a place to abuse me. She trolls me, my kids, and makes abusive comments. How do we make this stop once and for all?

WordPress doesn’t have a policy on whether or not you need a restraining order. Ask a lawyer if a restraining order is appropriate.
In my opinion, as a random forum volunteer who specializes in hacktivism and hacker news, I have to ask if you get restraining orders against everyone who disagrees with you?
To make it stop, pull a full Kathy Sierra, sign off the internet, have no phone number, never go outside.
Or you could just delete her comments and put her in the blacklist so she never shows up and move on with your life. Trolls gonna troll.
If she makes a specific, clear threat of physical violence, report her to the police.

I just seek restraining orders from someone who has spoken to a hitman on twitter about me, and threatened my face.

I’m certain that WordPress DOES have a policy, as they have told me by email that they do honor court orders. I’m wondering if I need one in this particular case.
I have indeed reported her to the IC3, the SF DA’s office has interceded in this matter, and the CA DoJ has opened an inquiry into Twitter’s handling.
Kindly do not answer on my threads again. You’re next to useless. Thanks
