Do I need Akismet?

  Do I have to use AKismet? I was trying to check my site stats on my iPad and it kept saying in invalid page….then recommended I purchase Akismet for a monthly fee if I wanted to check stats on my iPad…do I have to pay now to see stats? Thanks! Michele howe

  Akismet is installed on the WordPress.com blogging platform already. All of our blogs are equipped with it.
