Do i need business plan?

    I read somewhere i can get a jetpack plan and connect auto install to my wordpress site. So i don’t need business plan for backups?

    Hi there,
    Yes, you need a business plan to upgrade your jetpack plan. If it’s not too much trouble do you remember where it is that you read that information? If you do please share the page.

    It’s important to note that WordPress.com is often confused for WordPress.org and information on the internet sometimes fails to differentiate between these two. Some things and upgrades that are possible on WordPress.org do not apply to sites on Premium plans and below on WordPress.com.

    However about backups. all your data on WordPress.com is backed up regularly behind the scenes. You can read a little about that here: https://wordpress.com/support/export/#backups. They make such a big promise you should not be worried about losing your data and if you want to have different versions of your site yourself, use the export feature they mention.
