Do I need my wordpress.com upgrades if I've moved to wordpress.org?

  Do I need the wordpress.com upgrades if I have migrated to wordpress.org? The upgrade email I received tells that “If this upgrade expires, all the bundled upgrades will be removed, and your site will not longer be available at <mydomain>.org”

  I have moved everything to wordpress.org with a new host, so my site should absolutely still be available…. right??

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello there!

  If you are referring to the upgrades for bankinnovators.wordpress.com, you no longer need them for your self-hosted site. As your domain http://www.bankinnovatorscouncil.org is hosted elsewhere, you are not in danger of expired WordPress.com upgrades impacting the functionality of your WordPress.org site.

  Thank you for your prompt and thorough reply! That’s what I thought, but I wanted to make sure. That whole “your site will not no longer be available” language definitely gave me cause to pause… Thanks again!

  Hello again! I believe the email was meant to warn you that your WordPress.com site (bankinnovators.wordpress.com) would cease to operate at http://www.bankinnovatorscouncil.org. However, since you’ve moved to a different server, and have an outside domain host, this won’t be a problem!
