Do I need old URL?
-
I started my blog as, let’s say, “abc.wordpress.com.” I woke up one morning and decided to change my blog to, “xyz.wordpress.com.” Done, no problem, went through the search engine update stuff, all is going well.
Should I delete (just to be efficient and clean up) “abc.wordpress.com” ?
If yes, how do I do that, and be sure that “xyz.wordpress.com” is ok, all the data remains etc. And yes, I won’t ever need “abc.wordpress.com” again.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

To delete a WordPress.COM hosted blog you must be logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog to navigate to Dashboard > Tools > Delete Site.
The guide is here http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.
