Do I need the Font upgrade or Custom Design? Or neither?

    Hello!

I’ve got the Clean Home theme, which I’m more or less happy with. I’m not too fussy, but I really hate the font. It’s too small and I can’t make it leave a line between bullet points, which means when I use them it just ends up looking like one massive wall of text. I use bullets a lot so this is a really small but important issue.

How do I change this? As I’m not looking to overhaul the entire theme I’m reluctant to purchase the CSS Editor.

    Thanks!

These are 3 ways to change fonts on WordPress.com blogs.

    (1) Changing font families, colors and size in text in posts or pages either post by post or page by page by coding into the HTML editor. http://en.support.wordpress.com/editors/font-size-color/

    (2) Changing font colors in text in posts or pages either post by post or page by page using the #4 icon (Select text color – change the text color) in Row 2 the Visual editor. http://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#row-2

    (3) Changing all font families, colors and sizes throughout the whole blog by purchasing an annually renewable Custom Design upgrade and using Typekit Fonts with Staff support. http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/
Note: Any font changes to font families, colors and size in the blog title, tagline, post titles, page titles, categories and tags cannot be done without CSS editing.

I can’t make it leave a line between bullet points

The normal convention for unordered lists is no blank line between bullet points.

Thanks Timethief; I’ll have a bash at individually changing posts and if that gets too annoying I’ll get the CSS Editor.

Regardless that it’s conventional to have no gap, for the purposes of aesthetics the text looks better with a full break between each one. Any ideas how I can do this?

When we choose to have unordered lists the software provides a bullet for each line. Consequently if you do not place anything on a line you get a bullet which is not followed by any content.
