I can see that there is just one post on inthebackyardfarmer.wordpress.com and you have 3 followers so I’m not sure that I understand.
You do not need to have a custom domain to gain more traffic, you’ll just want to let others know about your site and keep adding interesting content so they want to come back :)
To get more WordPress.com blog views and traffic, you can:
1. Tell people in your social networks about your new post.
2. Make your content visible to search engines.
3. Use appropriate tags.

Um, I have 34 post under one site page. All published.
Yes, I will check into creating more following friends. Thank you for the heads up. It has been a hard stumbling block to heard the crowds in to the site. Atleast a one stop look would be nice.

What are the best tools/plugins that work the best? To drive followers. And do I need the Business Plan to get the same results?
Can I monetize my blog on WordPress? Yes I need a following larger than 3, I get this. So first things first. But does it have to be a non-free site to monetize it?
