Do I need this account?

    Hi, i recently started a blog. I have since learned the difference between wordpress.com and wordpress.org. After I created my wordpress.com account, I realized I wanted to go through bluehost, and so I believe my wordpress account with bluehost is wp.org. Is this correct?

    I’m wondering if I can delete my wp.com account. It seems to be getting me confused and even messed up some of my email information……which may have been my fault. But it’s just confusing me! Can I delete wp.com and not lose anything from my blog?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Yes you can close the WordPress.com account iowastrong if you wish.

    Note however that having a WordPress.com account even if your site is hosted elsewhere and using the WordPress.org software can prove beneficial if you ever want to use the popular JetPack plugin with your site.
