Do i need to connect my domain

  I briefly had a paid personal plan and found out that to connect my domain (which I have from Microsoft) i would interfere with the emails so I downgraded to free plan. I noticed I still have a paid upgrade to connect my domain. Should I cancel that? I am ok with website that has WordPress in it.

  Hi there,

  Let’s address the email part first because you can have a hosting plan with caxraysupervisor.com as the main site address and avoid interrupting emails.

  If you would like to re-add a plan and connect with A records, that will avoid email disruptions:

  Alternatively, you can use the nameserver method:
  https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/

  And then ensure the email is connected with this guide:
  https://wordpress.com/support/add-email/add-email-through-office-365/

  But if you want to skip those steps, you can simply update the domain with A records at your domain registrar.

  If you don’t want to add back a plan, the custom domain will still point people to the site if you keep the domain connection subscription.

  However, I recommend adding back a plan because you don’t need to worry about an issue with email by using the A record method.
