Do I need to download wordpress.org?

  I’m trying out a new system on the internet. I think they have the website set up for me already. First they take me to a page for wordpress, but when I enter my username and password for wordpress.com the system will not take it. Do I have to download wordpress.org to generate a usable username and password?

  You should not be downloading WP.org just to be able to login.

  Please check with the Administrator of the “new system” to find out how should you login.

  Thanks, just found the support e-mail address. Hopefully they will get back to me as promptly as you have, but somehow I doubt it.
