Do I need to pernanently delet my blog?

    4 days after publishing my last post, my page in wp mode keeps blank. So I cannot post new blog posts! Can I do something about it?
    I tried to change my username, name of blog. Nothing seems to help. The only thing is that I want to keep my images of this blog.

    First, please make sure that your browser is up to date: https://browsehappy.com/

    If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.

    If it is, please do these two things:

    1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies.

    2. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

    Please let us know how each step goes for you, and which browser (and version of) you’re using if you’re still having trouble.

    1. I have firefox, but I don’t know how to find out which version it is
    2. with the browser cache, do you mean, on top of the screen where all the regular urls are listed?
    Yesterday I tried to delete them a few times, but they all come back, after I delete them. Am I doing something wrong, or am I at the wrong place. You can tell I did not grow up with this. If it’s too hard, I’ll just delete my blog..thanks for trying to help.

    Try these steps for clearing the cache in Firefox:
    https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-clear-firefox-cache

    That should resolve the issue for you, but if not let us know!

    My browser is up to date and have cleared my cache of mozilla from data and cookies. My admin page is still blank and cannot post. What do you suggest?

    Hmmmm – we did have a rash of blank pages that were due to bad cache, but if that didn’t work we’ll need to do more troubleshooting.

    Can you get two screenshots for me?

    1) Go to the page where you’re creating a post, and get a full screenshot of that. Upload it here: https://wordpress.com/media — or if that does not work, please use snipboard.io or something similar, and send the link.

    2) Open your JavaScript console and refresh the editing page. Add a full screenshot of that as well.

    And, if possible, please also try another browser to see if that makes any difference. It could be something like an ad-blocker, or even a system-wide tool that blocks scripts, so hopefully these steps can help us figure out the cause.

    As an answer to the last instructions, I do not understand one iota of it, and decided to save myself a bad weekend, so I will delete my blog.
    One last guestion. A month ago I was working on making a second blog, but did not finish the whole procedure. (different username, url, password, and email). Do I still need to wait a whole month before publishing this new blog?

    Regarding not understanding what I said, one much simpler test is to try a different browser to see if that makes any difference. Can you try Chrome? That would help us narrow down the issue.

    Also I recommend against deleting your blog because if you do, and you don’t restore it in 30 days, you will permanently lose that address. You will not be able to get it back.

    If you prefer, you can just leave the blog for a while and come back to it after the weekend. If it’s something another user is running into, too, perhaps they’ll share enough details that we can resolve it for both of you.

    Will avoid google where I can because of their overreach of using personal info. When Blogspot was bought up by google, they started to use info for business sake” Yeah right – that’s why I went to w ordpress. And if wordpress starts doing the same, I will look for another platform so, no chrome, no Microsoft. I already deleted the blog.
