Do I need to register my upgradeed .com name with another domain name registrar?

  Hi
  I have upgraded to http://www.creationtonewcreation.com (rather than http://www.creationtonewcreation.wordpress.com). I seem to have inadvertently also registered http://www.creationtonewcreation.com with GoDaddy. This registration with GoDaddy expires tomorrow. Am I safe to let this registration with GoDaddy lapse, as I have already registered it with you (and it is renewed with you till 2016)? Many thanks, Rob

  Hi there!

  DO NOT LET YOUR DOMAIN EXPIRE WITH GODADDY.

  Your domain is registered only through GoDaddy. You can’t register a domain in more than one place. The domain registered at GoDaddy is then mapped to your site here at WordPress.com.

  You need the domain to continue being registered with GoDaddy in order for it to work with your site here at WordPress.com
