Do I need to renew my domain name with go daddy or can I just add it on here?

  My domain empoweredtodream.com is with go daddy. Do I need to renew it there to keep it or can I add it as a new domain on wordpress? Will the site stay the the same?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes, you’ll need to keep the domain registered with GoDaddy since WordPress.com does not currently accept transfers of existing domains.

  To use your domain with WordPress.com, keep it registered with GoDaddy and use the Domain Mapping addon to map it to your WordPress.com blog.
